Jessica Watkins is a NASA astronaut and geologist who has worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Ames Research Center on Mars rover missions. She flew on SpaceX Crew-4 as a mission specialist for her first spaceflight, becoming the first African American woman to serve on a long-duration ISS mission.
